There's a new tattoo trend in town which takes both major dedication and one hell of a strong pain threshold. It's being dubbed 'blackout ink' and it looks seriously painful.
The trend sees tattoo-lovers covering up whole areas of their body in full on blacked-out ink.
Pretty handy if you want to cover up a particularly disastrous tatt.
Artist Chester Lee of Oracle Tattoo shop in Singapore has been specialising in the method for about five years. Lee told Cosmopolitan.com that although some people use the method to cover up old tattoos - others are using the blackout ink as a negative space effect, to show off white tattoos or uninked skin more dramatically.
